Put Multiple Web Links into One Shortcut with LinkBunch

Mobile blogging and Internet Messaging created an entire culture of communication minimization style. People are trying to provide maximum information with minimal time and words. New service LinkBunch will help you if you need to communicate multiple Web Links. The free online service will allow you putting multiple links into one small link which you can share over IM, Twitter, email or even a mobile phone. When the recipient clicks on the tiny LinkBunch link, he/she will be presented with a page that contains all the links that you put in the bunch. So, it is like a web shortcut to the collection of links you want to share with your friends.

The service will be useful for those who share multiple links on the web services such as instant messengers (Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, etc.) or microblogging platforms such as Twitter (which has a 140-character limit) and Pownce (which only has one link field).
LinkBunch is easy to use. Web interface allows you to just paste links into the box on the homepage - one link on each line - and click ’Bunch’ to bunch them together. You can also use the Firefox extension that will let you create a bunch of all your open tabs in the browser.

Examples of use:
  1. You want to send your friends all your blogs and profile pages in different social networks.
  2. You want to share the multiple travel deals you have located online for your next dream vacation.
  3. You want to present your artistic works, hosted online, to your potential employer.
Instead of multiple, often long and complicated links, you send one - short and professional. No registration required, no strings attached, service is absolutely free.

Pixelpipe: Distribute your Media Content through Multiple Networks

Given the constantly growing number of micro-blogging, photo sharing, and video hosting sites, it is getting harder and harder to keep all these accounts updated. One of the outstanding applications, according to the ReadWriteWeb review, developed to post media files to a variety of services is Pixelpipe. Pixelpipe takes care of the distribution of your files, so that you can simultaneously post a picture to flickr and Facebook, and send a message with a link to that picture to Twitter. Thanks to a large number of updates in the last few weeks, Pixelpipe has become even more versatile than ever before and now lets you share almost any kind of file.

While other services like Tubemogul or Ping.fm focus on specific media types, Pixelpipe works with audio and video files, photos, text messages, and now even supports most other types of documents.

Post to 60 Different Services

Pixelpipe has already added support for dozens of new services since its launch, and the amount is growing pretty fast. You can post images and videos to all the prominent video and photo sharing sites, including Youtube, Vimeo, kyte, SmugMug, flickr, Picasa, Facebook, and Photobucket. Pixelpipe also lets you post photos to most popular blogging platforms.

Post PDF Files to Twitter

This month, Pixelpipe launched a new feature that lets you posts links to videos, photos, PDF files, or any other document to text-only micro-blogging service like Twitter, Rejaw, FriendFeed, or identi.ca. Pixelpipe will simply add a link to the document to your text messages and the files will be hosted on Pixelpipe’s Amazon S3 storage.

Even if Pixelpipe’s internal video player and document viewer isn’t compatible with a file, it will still give you a link to download the document. The upload limit is 200 megabytes.

Post from Anywhere

One of our favorite features of Pixelpipe is that the company has developed plugins for almost every conceivable desktop application for Mac, Linux, and Windows PCs. You can post videos from Windows Movie Maker, photos from iPhoto, Live Gallery, or Picasa, and when all else fails, you can also just email your media files to your personal Pixelpipe address. For mobile use, Pixelpipe provides applications for the iPhone, Android, and Nokia N Series phones.

Power users can also create routing tags (think: @friendfeed or @picasa), which allow you to selectively send items to a specific service or a group of services.

Verdict

The latest round of updates has turned Pixelpipe into an even more versatile tool. Now, sharing a PDF file with your Twitter friends is as easy as emailing it to your secret Pixelpipe address. If you often send the same document to a variety of services (or if you just want to send a picture from your phone to Twitter, but also keep a copy on Flickr), Pixelpipe is definitely worth trying.

BlogBackupr Provides FREE Blog Back Up Service

If you are experienced blogger, then you probably know the importance of your blog data and the hard work you do to keep your blog alive. Loosing your blog data will be a nightmare. It is a good idea to perform back ups of your blog content at regular intervals so that you will not loose much of you blog data in case of disastrous crash of your blogging platform.

I am a Blogger platform user, and I am using the embedded opportunities for the data backup. However, if for some reason Blogger itself cease to exist, the blogs content and all the backups will be gone as well.

It would be good to have blog backups preserved by the third-party platform, no affiliated with blog hosting site. There is a free service - BlogBackupr - who will do all the will do it for you on daily basis. This service works with all blogs that have a RSS-feed. It runs over the Internet and takes daily backup of your blog. The good thing is - you do not have to install any software on your PC as services are purely web-based.

Currently site supports the following blogging platforms:
* Wordpress Open Source (wordpress.org)
* Wordpress.Com
* Blogger.Com

Note that there are still certain limitations as the site does not support backup of images and your blog templates at the moment. However soon the support for all media files such as images (jpeg, gif etc) or any other files that’s currently on your blog (Powerpoint slides, ZIP-files, CSS, etc.) will be introduced. Triggit: Add Content and Monetize your Blog with Ease

Triggit offers an interesting approach to enhance the ways of your site monetization. It is a web based application that matches your site content to multiple ad opportunities, through a meta-ad network, having access to millions of ads from numerous networks and allowing to receive one aggregate earnings check.

The biggest advantage of Triggit is a nice ability to drag and drop fitting ads directly into your site from your web browser. No hassle embedding HTML, PHP or CSS code on you site. This drag and drop feature works through JavaScript. If your publishing platform accepts JavaScript, you are in the game. So far the accepted platforms are Blogger, TypePad, and WordPress. The application works as a simple widget, but you can also manually insert the code snipper if you like the certain ad to
appear on your site.

Triggit is also lets a blogger adding YouTube videos and Flickr images to the page easily and in no time without editing HTML or even launching your blog post editor

The bigger issue with this service is related to the browser limitation. Currently, Triggit only works with Flock and FireFox. This leaves all other browser of the page or blog owners out of the picture.

A little video from DownloadSquade shows how the service works.

25 Popular Free Image Storage Hosts for Bloggers

With tight competition in the blogosphere for visitors and their attention, bloggers need to consider not just providing a fresh unique and interesting content, but also provide blog posts design to grab visitors’ attention. One of the elements of this post design enhancement is images. There are multiple reasons to use pictures inside the posts. Among them:
  • Visualizing the topic of discussion;
  • Grabbing readers’ attention (great for making your RSS feed readers stop and read);
  • Drawing people’s eye down a post beyond the first few lines;
  • Illustrating examples;
  • Giving your blog a more personal touch;
  • Engaging the emotions and senses of readers;
  • Giving posts more authority.
In most blogging platforms, you can load images directly to your host. However, there are many advantages of posting your images at the special image hosting servers. Among them:
  • Image files, stored on third-party sites (many of them offer free services), can be used anywhere you might need them: blogs, social networking sites, message boards, etc. If you load images, for example, on Blogger, you cannot use them on any other location besides BlogSpot domain.
  • Storing images on offsite account saves disk space from your blog hosting account.
  • Very strong advantage is that it saves your bandwidth from the blog hosting account and uses the third-party bandwidth. So, be sure that you images host allows hot linking; otherwise, it will be useless for you.
  • It is easy because you get various codes that can be used on blogs, forums, message boards, and social communities.
  • Several images hosting sites even are offering you share of the ads-generated income, so by doing what you need to do for your blog design, you get additional passive income from images, stored on the server, exposure.

Free Online Multi-Site Blog Pinging Services

In one of my previous articles, related to the methods for traffic rates improvement to your Blog, I have presented the Blog pinging (http://blogging4good.blogspot.com/2008/01/submission-to-search-engines-and.html) as an important approach for the Blog owner to announce the site recent updates to the Search Engines. Instead of pinging each and every Search Engine, that keeps track of weblogs and publishes them, you can use one of the available free online services - automatic multi-engines pinging, giving opportunity to the users updating several Search Engines at once. All you need to do is filling the Blog particulars in the online form for submission. In most cases, the registration is not required, but human presence validation might be needed for submission. The ping signal, usually performed through XML messaging, consisting of the title and URL of your Blog, as well as the date and time of the update, will be instantly sent, notifying on the announced changes. I have revised today the listing on the RateItAll, and currently the Blog Pinging Free Online Services Rating List includes 20 competitive sites.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Note, that if you use the desktop submission software to post entries to your blog, you might find built-in pinging capabilities in your blogging program. Usually this feature is disabled by defaults, but can be activated by the user.
